I started making cakes as a hobby over 30yrs ago, eventually giving up a full-time job in teaching under 5's. It's been a lifetime passion of baking delicious treats that bring people together, celebrating so many special occasions along the way and now I can be a small part of your special occasion too, making your dream cake.

Our team consists of Me (Kim) Rick, my wonderful hubby, our two girls, Annie and Charlotte, and our lovely Niece Megan.
We are committed to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every visit to Hareraising Cakes is a memorable one.

At Hareraising Cakes, we offer a wide variety of baked goods, including Celebration and wedding cakes, cupcakes, cookies, seasonal sweet treats, and lots lots more. Our products are made fresh daily, and we use only the best ingredients to ensure that every bite is as delicious as the last.
About Your Baker Kim
It's all about me
Hi my name is Kim, and I am your baker, I'm also the owner and founder of Hareraising Cakes. I am 53, a wife and been married 32 years this year, I'm also a mum to two gorgeous and grown up girls and also a Nana to one little girl. My passion for baking comes from my grandma and my mum, I was always under their feet in the kitchen and it has followed me through life in various forms, but cake has always been a passion, first as a hobby and now as my very own business. I would love to have a little tea room one day, but for now I'm happy doing what I'm doing and that is creating cakes that make people smile and there celebration complete.
My Approach
I believe that every cake, whether it be a wedding cake, right down to the humble cupcake, should be unique and personalized to you. That's why I will work closely with you to create a custom cake that reflects your style and taste. It might take lots of question for us to create your vision and perfect design then that's what I will do to make sure your cake is what you love.
